Grounded Reflections After Project Hail Mary

“Sometimes you just don't know what you don't know until you do, and then you act differently.”

Relationships can be hard, feelings can be disorienting, and the mind is quick to turn sensation into story. Sometimes something feels deeply real in the body, but that still does not mean I get to decide what it is, what it should become, or what it means in this moment. That tension is part of being here. Part of being human.

This one is really about learning how to stand inside uncertainty without collapsing into it. Feeling what is real. Letting life be challenging. Letting emotions move. And remembering that forcing an outcome is not the same thing as honoring what is true.

A Map of Wisdom
Here are some of the places we go together in this talk:
✦ When life feels smaller than your soul knows it is
✦ How feelings can be real without making the story true
✦ Why relationships stir up attachment, hope, and projection
✦ The human need for order when life feels disorienting
✦ Standing in uncertainty without trying to force the ending

Something to Sit With:
What feeling is present for you right now and what story is your mind trying to build around it?

A Restorative Step:
Take sixty seconds right now. Name one feeling that has been with you today, without attaching a reason or a story to it. Just the feeling itself. Breathe with it. Then step back into your day.
