Do What Feels Natural and Let Life Make Sense Later

“Do the things that make sense to you, do the things that feel natural to you.”
I’ve been thinking about what happens when we stop forcing ourselves to work in ways that were never really ours. For me, speaking feels natural. Writing can be there too, but the clearest things often come through when I’m talking, tuned into the moment, and letting the energy move without overworking it.
That does not mean it is easy. It still takes care, honesty, and attention. But when we lean into what feels genuine, and let other people bring their gifts to the places where we are not as strong, everybody wins a little more. Then life keeps moving. Stress shows up. Timing gets strange. Meaning arrives later. So we breathe, chop wood, carry water, and do the task in front of us.
A Map of Wisdom
Here are some of the places we go together in this talk:
✦ Leaning Into What Feels Natural
✦ Stress That Sparks Creativity
✦ Building Wins in Community
✦ Chop Wood and Carry Water
✦ Be Here Now With What’s in Front of You
Something to Sit With:
Where are you making life harder by trying to work against what actually feels natural to you?
A Restorative Step:
Choose one small task in front of you and do it slowly. Wash the cup. Fold the shirt. Answer the message. Let the simplicity bring you back to the moment.
