Distraction, Focus, and Finding the Middle

“Purpose isn’t to be perfect. The purpose is to be conditioned for the fluctuations of life.”
Life is full of distractions, and I don’t think the goal is to avoid them completely. The real practice is learning how to come back. In this talk, I reflect on how even small interruptions can pull us out of the moment, and how practices like hot yoga can teach us to notice that and return with more awareness.
Stress, adaptation, and wisdom are all part of this conversation. The purpose is not perfection, but becoming more steady through the natural fluctuations of life. Self care is often simpler than we make it, and yoga and Ayurveda can remind us how to stay present, grounded, and more connected to ourselves.
