DIVO-Ted Talks

Podcast

Some seasons feel like friction in every direction. I talk about uncertainty, attachment, and what it means to trust your gut without forcing life to match the picture in your mind. Peace starts with seeing clearly, accepting what is true now, and remembering that even when life is hard, it is still possible to be well and free.
Sometimes life makes sense later. This reflection is about leaning into what feels natural, catching the thoughts that come through in the moment, and staying with the next breath when the bigger meaning is not clear yet. We do the task in front of us, and we let life reveal itself in time.
You heal yourself. Doctors do procedures but after that it is still you and the wisdom inside your body that puts everything back together. This talk is a gentle reminder that self healing is actually the way of everything.
Disturbances aren’t the enemy they act like rumble strips helping us recalibrate and see what we really need. When life throws you into emotion, it is easy to start believing the moment is your identity.
I’ve been thinking about how quickly something small can pull us right out of our focus. The more we practice persisting and breathing through those distractions, the more we can move through life’s curveballs with greater ease. It’s a reminder that it’s your birthright to be well and free.
A lot of political tension comes from people believing they are standing on solid moral ground, even when there is no real consensus underneath it. In this talk, I reflect on the political divide, the way both sides can mirror each other, and why coming back to center matters when the world feels increasingly polarized.
Sometimes the hardest part of conflict is not what happened. It is what stays with you after. The replaying. The weight you give somebody else’s opinion. The way one interaction can follow you into the rest of your day and make you question who you are.
The world gets heavy sometimes, and when it does, most people start looking outside themselves for stability. I sat with what stress, anger, perception, and boundaries actually do inside the body, and why coming back to your own center matters more than trying to control what everybody else is doing.
Life never stops moving. The question is whether you get thrown by every wave or learn how to stand inside the motion. In this talk, I reflect on stress, adaptation, yoga, and what it means to remember that beneath all the fluctuation, you are already well and free
I was thinking about April Fools this morning and realized we don’t actually need a special day for pranks, we do a pretty good job on our own. I talk about how we create our own alternate realities with stories and how yoga and Ayurveda help us come back to discernment and what is truly real.
